BEST MONT TREMBLANT AFTERNOON RUN Make your way over to the Versant Soleil, the newest part of the mountain; in tree runs like Bon Vieux Temps and Brasse-Camarade off Toboggan, and Les Bouleaux off Ryan Haut there's still untouched snow.
MONT TREMBLANT INSIDER'S TIP Locals and off-duty ski instructors skip the top-to-bottom lifts that can get clogged on weekends. Instead, they'll do black-diamond and glade laps off the Edge and the Expo. Also, brown bag a lunch or delay your dining; thanks to all the foodies who have found Tremblant, noontime is especially crowded in the restaurants but fairly empty on the hill. In March and April you can replenish calories with maple taffy on snow, which is served at the base.
MONT TREMBLANT FAMILY INFORMATION Tremblant's Kids Club offers day care for children ages 1 to 6 (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), and reservations are required. Through the Snow School, children ages 3 and up can learn to ski in afternoon or one-day sessions; there are also similar snowboard lessons for ages 7 and up.
