Activities for the Whole Family
In the fall, you’ll have no trouble keeping your family busy all weekend at Station touristique Duchesnay…on 25.7 km of hiking trails, the Arbre en Arbre treetop adventure circuit, the nearby bike paths and the 65 km of forest roads marked for mountain biking. Then just enjoy relaxing in the indoor pool, the sauna and the outdoor spa.

Bat Inventory at Parc national d'Anticosti
Bats are the only mammals that can fly. There are eight species in Québec. To document the presence of species on the territory of Parc national d’Anticosti, a mobile acoustic inventory was conducted in August and September 2007 to determine the abundance and diversity of the bat populations.

Waterfowl Watching
By canoe, kayak or bicycle, come and watch these migrating birds at Parc national de Plaisance in Outaouais. Until Thanksgiving, you can stay in a tent, a ready-to-camp concept, a yurt or at Maison Blais. Take part in a Bird Safari every Sunday until October 11. This pontoon boat cruise makes a short stop on the Legault Peninsula so you can take a better look at the park’s wide variety of bird species.
